What this looks like

What we do

A respectful, structured space for family members to be heard and to rebuild trust.

Support navigating parenting challenges, life transitions, and recurring relational patterns.

Age-appropriate involvement of the family members relevant to the work, decided together up front.

Sessions available in-person in Broward County or virtually by secure telehealth, in English or Spanish.

Scope of care

What we don't do

This is not a substitute for child or adolescent psychiatric care, or for crisis intervention — if a family member is in crisis, call or text 988.

This is not a custody evaluation, parenting-plan evaluation, or forensic service.

Family sessions require the willing participation of the members involved; they are not used to force a particular outcome.

Getting started

What to expect

  1. A parent or family member reaches out to share what is happening and who would be involved.
  2. A brief consultation to confirm fit and clarify which family members will attend.
  3. An intake session to understand the family’s history and goals for the work.
  4. Ongoing sessions with the relevant family members, focused on communication and repair.
